Lavender & Honey Lemonade

5 cups


Lavender Honey Syrup:

1 cup Sugar

¼ cup Honey

1 cup Water

1 Tbsp Dried Lavender (or a few drops of lavender essential oil)



3 cups Lemon Juice, Freshly Squeezed

Lavender Honey Syrup

1.5 cups water


For garnish:

1 Lemon, sliced

1 bunch Mint, picked and clean leaves

Optional: Fresh Lavender Sprigs


Place sugar, honey, water and dried lavender in a medium saucepan and heat over medium heat for 2 minutes or until sugar and honey are fully dissolved.  Take saucepan off the heat and allow mixture to steep and cool for 10 more minutes.  If you want more lavender flavor allow the mixture to steep up to 24 hours under refrigeration.  Strain the mixture removing dried lavender leaves and store in an airtight container refrigerated for up to 5 days until use.

Place freshly squeezed lemon juice, lavender honey syrup, and water in a pitcher. Stir gently and store refrigerated until use.

Before serving, pour into glasses half full of ice and garnish with lemon slice, mint leaves, and a fresh lavender sprig. We recommend serving with La Madeleines signature Lemon Madeleines – bon appétit!
