One of the most beautiful pâtisseries in our case is the Strawberry Napoleon. Our pastry chefs are renowned for making this traditional French dessert. They start by baking sheets of flaky feuilltage pastry (puff pastry) until it’s golden brown and crisp. They then fill the baked sheets with fresh sliced strawberries and vanilla pastry cream (crème pâtisserie) made fresh in our bakeries every day. To finish, we top the Napoleons with a sweet creamy fondant icing and freshly sliced toasted almonds.
